2 killed in Jessore ‘shootouts’

Two drug dealers were killed in ‘shootouts’ at Chowgacha upazila in Jessore early Wednesday.

Identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Asad, Assistant Sub Inspector of Chowgacha Police Station, told Jagonews24.com that, “Being informed about shooting incident, they rushed to the spot. Sensing their presence, the drug dealers fled away.”

Later police recovered two dead bodies and sent to Jessore 250-bedded General Hospital. They also recovered one pistol, one round bullet and a sack of Phensidyle, he added.
