Govt to set up 560 model mosques
The government with the financial support of the Saudi Arabia will set up 560 model mosques across the country.
The mosques, three categorized, will be built in three phases. A total of 68 four-storey mosques with lift facility will be set up in the first phase in divisional and district level towns.
A total of 476 ‘B’ category mosques and 16 ‘C’ category mosques will be three storied.
There will be a library, an Islamic research centre and a corpse bathing room in each of the mosque.
