37 varsity’s deadlock continues

A deadlock situation is prevailing on the campuses of thirty seven public universities for the second consecutive days following indefinite strike of the teacher demanding to reduce paying discrimination in 8th national pay scale.

Bangladesh University’s Teachers Association Federation observed indefinite strike and remaind them off from university’s related all activities from Monday.

Consequently all public universities were remained silent as presence of the student was very few on the campuses.

The classes and examination were held in few department of the university.

Secretary General of the federation Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal said Jagonews24.com that, indefinite strikes are continuing jointly at all public universities.
