Indian hegemony causing insecurity in Bangladesh: Zafrullah

Freedom fighter and the Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury said that Indian hegemony was causing insecurity among the people in Bangladesh.

“People here are insecure only because of the Indian hegemony,” he said at a human chain held in front of National Press Club on Sunday. A community group Shoron Khola Unnayan Songram Parishad organized the human chain.

Regarding the recent anti militancy drive, he said: “We have seen that militants were being killed but why were not they captured?”

He urged people to be conscious about this.

Among others, Nagorik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna, CPB leader Ruhin Hossain Prince spoke at the programme.
