Road crash kills police in capital

A police man was killed while crossing road at Rayerbagh area in the capital on Sunday night.

The deceased person was identified as Nayek M Rafiq.

A pedestrian rescued him and took him to DMCH where he succumbed under treatment.

According to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), a bus hit Rafiq while he was returning his Rayerbagh resident after completion of his duty.

In charge of DMCH Police Outpost Mozammel Hossain confirmed the incident.
