Holy Lailatul Meraj on April 24

The holy Lailatul Meraj will be observed across the country on the night of April 24 as the moon of Hijri month of Rajab, 1438 was sighted today in Bangladesh.

The National Moon Sighting Committee took the decision at a meeting after reviewing reports received from different parts of the country.

Religious Affairs Ministry Joint Secretary Mohammad ABM Amin Ullah Nuri chaired the meeting at Islamic Foundation (IF) at Baitul Muqarram National Mosque here in the evening.

Joint Secretary (Press) of Information Ministry Md Mizan-ul-Alam, Joint Secretary of Cabinet Md Saiful Islam and Joint Secretary of Religious Affairs Ministry ABM Aminullah, among others, were present in the meeting.
