Daulatdia-Paturia ferry services resume

The ferry services on Daulatdia-Paturia route resumed on Sunday morning after a two-hour halt due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Earlier, the authorities of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) temporality halted the services on the route around 7:45 am to avoid accident.

BIWTC Paturia Ghat commercial department manager Salauddin ensured this to Jagonews24.com.

He said, ferries with vehicles and passengers on board, which were waiting at both ghats, left for respective destination.
