Bartaman editor granted three days’ remand

Dainik Bartaman editor Mizanur Rahman was granted on Saturday three days’ remand in a case filed over vandalism and arson attack during the Hefazat-e-Islami’s rally in the city last year. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashikur Rahman issued the order on Friday.

The DB police prayed for 10 days’ remand for the sake of proper investigation into the case. After hearing the court granted three days. The police filed the case with the Motijheel police station on May 5 last year.
