4-storey building tilts in Mohammadpur

A 4-storey residential building tilted at Tajmohol Road in the city’s Mohammadpur area around 3:30pm on Saturday.

Bhajan Kumar Sarker, duty officer of Fire Service Central Control Room has confirmed the incident to JagoNews24.com.

He said, after being informed, firefighters rushed in and evacuated the residents from the building.

One fire fighter unit has already reached the spot, said Bhajan Kumar Sarker, duty officer of Fire Service Central Control Room.

Sub-Inspector of Mohammadpur police station Jamal Uddin Mir said the building slightly tilted towards the west side. However, no casualty was reported.
