10 killed as truck overturns in Mymensingh

Ten people were killed and ten others injured as a cement-loaded truck carrying them overturned on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh early Friday.

Mamun-or-Rashid, Officer-in-charge of Bhaluka Model Police Station, confirmed the matter to the Jagonews24.com.

He said, “The incident took place when the truck went down the ditch while heading towards Jsamalpur, leaving ten people dead on the spot and ten others injured.”

The injured people were admitted to Bhaluka Health Complex, he added.
