5 militant suspects held in capital

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in several drives held five people in the alleged involvement of militancy from Jatrabari and Uttar Badda of the capital in the early hours of Tuesday.

Identities of the detainees could not be known immediately.  

Confirming the matter to Jagonews24.com, Jahangir Hossain Matubbor, Commander of RAB-10, told that they are trying to know about detainees’ involvement with the attackers of Ashkona RAB camp.    

Further details regarding this matter will be disclosed at a press conference at 1pm, he added.
