36th BCS preliminary test held
The preliminary test of the 36th BCS (Bangladesh Civil Service) was held at 161 centers in the divisional cities including Dhaka on Friday.
The exam began at 9.30am and continued till 11.00am. A total of 211,326 aspirants have sat for the test.
Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) prohibited uses of watch, pocket watch and electronic watches during the BCS test.
Required number of wall clocks was arranged at the exam centres.
In the circular of 36th BCS, PSC advertised for 2,180 vacant posts for the government services including 542 general cadres.
