wounded fishermen shifted to SBMCH

The bullet-shot 8 fishermen have been shifted to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barishal for better treatment on Monday around 5 PM.

Earlier at 2:30am on Monday Robbers shot the fishermen in the Bay of Bengal, 160 kilometers off Patharghata upazila in Patuakhali district.

The victims are identified as Liton, Masud, Kabir, Nurul Islam, Khokan, Furkan, Saidul, and Litu. Among them Liton, Masud, Kabir, and Nurul Islam are in critical condition as they sustained bullet injuries in their chests, backbones, and heads.

They were primarily admitted to Upazila Health Complex in Barisal.
