Church night guard hacked in Pabna, 3 held

A night guard of Cent Riters Catholic Church was hacked to injure at Chatmohar Upazila in Pabna in the wee hours of Friday.

The victim was identified as Gilbart Kosta, 65, son of late Joshef Kosta, of village Lautia of the upazila. He was first rushed to Chatmohar Health Complex and then shifted to Pabna Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.

In this connection, Chatmohar Police Station in a drive held three people.

The detainees are Rajib Hossain, son of Abdul Haque, Murad Hossain, son of Anjil Hossain and Farid Hossain, son of Lal Chand.

SM Ahsan Habib, Officer-in-charge of Chatmohar Police Station, confirmed the matter to Jagonews24.com.
