Health Minister undergoes medical check-up at BSMMU

Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim on Tuesday underwent medical check-up during his visit to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

At the ground floor of the Cabin Block, minister`s ultrasonography test was conducted by Prof Dr Md Enayet Karim, chairman of Radiology and Imaging Department. After the test, Mohammad Nasim talked with the attending patients
there inquiring about their treatment facilities.

Later, the minister visited office of the vice-chancellor of the university where he underwent his health check-up and various medical tests by Dean of the Medical Faculty Prof Dr ABM Abdullah, Chairman of Cardiology Department
Prof Dr Sajal Krishna Banarjee and endocrinologist Dr Shahzada Selim.

The specialist doctors also provided medical treatment to the minister and handed over prescriptions at that time.

Talking to the Vice-chancellor of BMSSU Prof Dr Quamrul Hasan Khan and other specialist doctors, Mohammad Nasim reiterated his assurance to deliver a cathelab machine for the cardiology department from his ministry.
