Trader shot in Capital

A trader was shot by some unidentified miscreants at Dakshinkhan area in capital on Monday night.

The victim was identified as Shafiqul Islam, 30 attacked in front of Ashkona Medical at Dakshinkhan.

Locals said two gunmen shot Shafiqul twice and fled the scene. Later they admitted him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) immediately.

Duty Doctors said Shafiqul is in critical condition as he received two bullets in waist and stomach.

Dakshinkhan police said they could not find any clue behind the incident immediately.
