FM to meet Kerry on Wednesday

Foreign Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali will sit for a bi-lateral meet with US Foreign Minister John Kerry on Wednesday at Washington. Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the news on Monday.

The FM will leave Dhaka Tuesday to join a seminar on anti-terrorism at White House. The seminar is scheduled to be held on Wednesday and Thursday following the recent terrorist attacks in Sydney, Ottawa and Paris.

Besides the seminar issue, bi-lateral and regional issues are expected to be discussed in the meeting, said foreign ministry.

This is going to be the first visit of FM after Awami League-led government has come to power for the 2nd term.
