SSC exams to continue on hartal day
The government has decided to take Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent exams during tomorrow’s hartal.
The Communist Party of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal on Friday called a half day (6am-12pm) hartal in protest of gas price hike.
While talking to journalists, chairman of Dhaka Board Professor Mahbubur Rahman on Monday said that they took the decision to continue the exams as the two parties kept the exams out of the hartal purview.
The Biology (theory) and Economics and Civics and citizenship, Agriculture, Home Economics, Urdu, Persian and Computer for Madrasa examinees are scheduled to be held tomorrow.
“We are seeking cooperation from all so that the SSC examinees do not face any problem,” the chairman said.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has given their support to Tuesday’s hartal.
