Nobody is beyond the law: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Friday said nobody is beyond the law and law is equal for all.

The home minister was speaking as the chief guest at the re-union programme of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) at Baipail of Ashulia here this morning.

The minister made this comment on the arrest of former Jatiya Party Lawmaker Kader Khan for his alleged involvement with the killing of the ruling party lawmaker Manjurul Islam Liton in Gaibandha.

Kamal, however, said that the criminals must be punished whatever his designation and status like social leader, political person or the high profile official of the administration.

Senior police officials and BNCC`s ex-cadets were accompanied to the home minister during this time.
