WB hands over two cars to customs after allegation

World Bank handed two vehicles over to customs authorities after an allegation of the department that the international organization misused sixteen Tax-free cars across the country.

The country office of World Bank handed over the two cars to Customs Intelligence at its headquarters this morning, an official concerned said.

The handover came five days after the customs office sought information from the World Bank about 16 of its vehicles brought in Bangladesh under a duty-free facility.
