Drive against illegal occupants on Turag riverbank
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Wednesday conducted a drive to evict illegal occupants from riverbank of Turag at Uttara and Turag thana areas here.
The mobile court led by DMP executive magistrate Moshiur Rahman conducted the day-long drive from 12am to 5pm.
Moshiur Rahman said, during the drive they evicted five-six thousands illegal establishments from three-kilometer areas under Abdullahpur of Uttara to Kamarpara bridge of Turag.
