Over 100 shanties gutted at Mohammadpur
More than 100 shanties have been gutted in a fire that broke out in a slum of Mohammadpur in the capital.
The fire broke out around 4:25am on Thursday. Fourteen fire fighting units went to the spot and doused the blaze around 5:23am.
The reason behind fire could not be known yet. No casualty was reported.
Mysterious fire broke out at several Dhaka’s slums including Karail and Sattola, in the last few months.
