Pro-BNP upazila chairman arrested in Mymensingh

Ahmmed Tayebur Rahman Hiron, chairman of Gouripur upazila parishad in Mymensingh, has been arrested in a case filed with Purbadhala Police Station over arson attack.

Hiron is also the joint convener of Mymensingh district unit (north) of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

A team of police arrested him in front of the upazila parishad office while he was returning to his home on Tuesday night.
