4 Allahar Dal members held

Four members of a banned Islamist outfit Allahar Dal including its divisional chief have been arrested in Thakurgaon municipality.

Acting on a tip-off, Police conducted a drive at a house of the area and arrested them on Monday night.

The arrestees are Arif Hosen, son of Hamid, Fajlu, son of Safiullah, Fakrul Islam Babu, son of Abdul Motalib, hailing from Pabna, Mojibul Islam Miron, son of Khandaker Halim, hailing from Kushtia.

Farhat Ahmed, Superintendent of Police of Thakurgaon, disclosed the matter in a press conference at 11.30am.
