Driver hacked, car snatched in Kalabagan

A group of miscreants snatched a private car after hacking its driver in the capital’s Kalabagan early Thursday.

The victim Masud Rana, 32, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.

Confirming the matter to Jagonews24.com, DMCH Police Outpost Sub-Inspector Bachchu Mia told that, “Some injury marks were seen on the victim’s body.”

In this connection, injured Masud told that, “About five to six people hacked me with sharp weapons and beat me up. They took my car and sped away.”

Yeasin Arafat, officer-in-charge of Kalabagan Police Station, told that, “We are informed about the matter and trying to collect CCTV footage beside the area to detain the snatchers.”
