2 militants killed in gunfight with RAB

Two militants were killed in a gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-1 in Gazipur.
During the gunfight a RAB member was also injured when a bomb was hurled on him by militants.
The incident took place at one-Decker under construction house of Jogitola Natun Bazaar area behind the Bangladesh Paddy Research Institute in Gazipur Metropolitan.
Director of Media wing of RAB Mufti Mahmud Khan informed this to journalist at 2pm on Monday.
A large number of equipment for making bomb, electric cables and books about extremist’s ideology were recovered from the spot.
