SSC exams begin Feb 2

Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations of 2017 will begin on 2 February across the country.

Nurul Islam Nahid, Education Minister, said this at a press conference at Education Ministry on Tuesday.

A total of 17,86,613 students under the ten education boards will take part in the exam this year, said the Minister.

Of them, 14,25,900 students will sit for the SSC exams under eight general education boards, while 2,56,601 students will appear in Dakhil (secondary level of madrasa) examinations, and 1,04,212 in SSC vocational exams, he said.
