32 Bangladeshis detained in Benapole

Border Guard Bangladesh members on Saturday afternoon detained 32 Bangladeshi nationals including women and children, as they entered Bangladesh from India illegally.

They were held from Sadipur village in Benapole near Indian border.

In this connection, Jessore 26 Battalion Benapole sadar BGB camp subedar Ayub Hossain said that on information BGB conducted a drive and nabbed 15 women, 12 men and five children as they entered Bangladesh illegally.

But the BGB could not hold the traffickers, he added.
