Arrest warrant issued against 17 BNP men
A Dhaka court on Sunday issued arrest warrant against 17 leaders and activists of BNP including its standing committee member MK Anwar.
Dhaka metropolitan sessions judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah issued the warrant accepting charge sheet in the case lodged under Special Powers Act with capital’s Wari Police Station.
The other accused includes Barkatullah Bulu, Sultan Salauddin Tuku, Shimul Biswas and Azizul bari Helal.
Police filed the case in January, 2015, for carrying out subversive activities.
