2 killed in Gazipur road mishap

Two youths were killed in a road accident in Mirerbazar area of the district on Saturday night.

The deceased were identified as motorcycle rider Sapan Mohan, 30, and co-rider Samar Halder, 41.

Police sources said the accident occurred when a truck hit their motorcycle from the opposite direction in the area, leaving the two dead on the spot.

Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue. A case was filed in this connection.
