Miscreants attacked 3 houses, injured 5

Five people were injured as miscreants attacked three houses at Dagan Bhuiyan in Feni over the upcoming municipality polls early Wednesday.

Assailants also beat and threatened the voters of Barik Mistry Bari, Doctor’s Bari, Abdul Ali Bepari.

Zia Uddin Masud, councillor candidate of the ward no. 3 of Dagan Bhuiyan municipality, alleged that associates of rival contester Nurul Huda Selim carried out the attacks, leaving a moyher of newborn baby among five others injured.

The injured woman was taken to Dagan Bhuiyan upazila Health Complex by SI M Hassan of Dagan Bhuiyan Police Station.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of the police station M Aslam Uddin informed the matter to journalist.
