Clean-up campaign on Jan 20

A clean-up campaign and a road show will be held on 20th January with the slogan “Cleanliness starts with me”. A volunteer organization Dhaka Clean will organize the campaign.

The organization announced the schedule at a press conference at Sagor-Runi auditorium at Dhaka Reporters Unity on Wednesday.

The members of the organization will clean street from Bijoy Smarani to Shahbag on that day. The campaign will be held from 3pm to 5 pm.

The organizers said their main objective is to make mass people aware about negative effect of throwing cough, waste, used packets, plastic bottles and polythene bags in streets, parks, play grounds, walkway and everywhere.

Dhaka Clean’s chief coordinator Farid Uddin Milon, members Rakibul Hasan Noman and Badsha Faysal, among others, were present at the conference.
