Youth held with 5KG Ganja in Brhammanbaria

Police in a drive detained a youth along with five KG ganja at Toll Plaza area of Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Ashuganj of Brhammanbaria district on Sunday morning.

The youth was identified as Mamun Sheikh, 26, son of Abdur Rahmin of Village Chandai in Jamalpur Sadar upazila.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-charge of Ahuganj Police Station Md. Selim Uddin told Jagonews24.com that, acting on a tip off police conducted a drive at toll plaza area and recovered five KG Ganja from Narayanganj bound pickup and held Mamun Sheikh.
