PM urges partymen to overcome challenging days ahead
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today urged the party leaders and workers to work together to overcome the challenging days ahead and make sincere efforts to help complete the development works of the government without wasting time.
"We have stepped into the fourth year of our tenure. But coming days are also challenging. And we have to complete the unfinished projects for the welfare of the people," she said during a visit to Dhanmondi office of the Awami League president this afternoon.

The prime minister said honesty is the main strength of Awami League. Awami League leaders and workers always have to remember the life and works of Bangabandhu and his spouse who dedicated their whole life for the people, she said.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is also the president of Awami League, paid the sudden visit to Dhanmondi office marking completion the third year of her present government, boosting the rank and file of her party.
Sheikh Hasina said the Padma Bridge project is the manifestation of honesty of Awami League. "The project with our own resources has brightened country`s image abroad," she said.
General Secretary of the party Obaidul Kader, organizing secretary Khaled Mahmud Chowdhury, MP, and office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap were present.
Sheikh Hasina said Bangladesh Awami League has earned the country`s independence. But any blow hit the party first, she said adding that "the past army-backed caretaker government also opted to arrest me first instead of those persons having allegation of corruption."
The prime minster said Bangladesh has launched its journey overcoming many obstacles. "We have to remember the past and work for the people in the coming days," she said.
