Rakib murder case: HC starts hearing death reference, appeals
The High Court has started hearing on the death reference and appeals in a case filed over the killing of Rakib.
The bench of Justice Jahangir Hossain and Justice Md Jahangir Hossain started the first hearing on Tuesday.
On August 3, Rakib, who used to work at a motorcycle garage at Tutpara Central Road in Khulna city, was tortured to death allegedly by his former employer over quitting job.
Nurul Alam, victim’s father, filed a case with sadar police station against three people - Sharif, Mintu and Beauty Begum - after the killing.
