Part of DCC market collapses in fire

A fire broke out at DCC market in Gulshan-1 of Dhaka that collapsed a portion of the two-storey market.

The fire originated around 2:30am on Tuesday. Twenty units of firefighters were trying to douse the blaze while the report was filed around 8.46am.

The cause of fire and further details of the incident could not be known immediately.

In this connection, Abdul Ahad, Additional Deputy Commissioner in Gulshan zone told Jagonews24.com, additional police were deployed on the spot to control further untoward situation.
