33 including BNP-Jamaat men arrested in Satkhira

Police arrested 33 people including the activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Jamaat-e-Islam in Satkhira on Monday night to Tuesday early.

Police arrested them from different parts of the district in connection with sabotage activities.

Sub Inspector Enamul said, police in a drive held 10 people from Sadar Thana, 8 from Kolarua, 1 from Tala, 2 from Ashashuni, 3 from Shyamnagar, 1 from Patkelghata, 2 from Debhata and 6 from Kaliganj.
They were sent to court, he added.
