Indefinite transport strike begins in Sylhet

An indefinite transport strike called by Sylhet Transport Workers and Truck Union in five point demands began in Sylhet from Tuesday morning.

Selim Ahmed Folik, president of the district transport workers union confirmed the matter to Jagonews24.com.

He said, ‘The indefinite transport strike has been called pressing five point-demands including excessive toll collections, harassment by police and to stop torture on transport workers.’
