Cop killed in road crash

A cop was killed when a microbus crushed him under its wheel at Jhenaidah-Jessore highway under the Barobazaar area of Kaliganj upazila in Jhenaidah district at 12pm on Monday.

The police constable was identified as Jamirul Islam, 32.

Additional Superintendent of Police Azbahar Ali Sheikh confirmed the matter to Jagonews24.com.

According to source, a microbus crushed police constable Jamirul when he checked the vehicle at check post.
