Killer truck driver will be taken to task: Inu

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu said on Sunday that the truck driver who was responsible for the death of journalist Abdullah Al Faruk would be traced and taken to task.

He said, "Nobody is above the law. We will seek the protection of the law enforcing agencies."

The minister was talking to journalists at the Jatiya Press Club after the Namaz-e-Janaza of Faruk there at noon.

Others who were present at the janaza included Prime Minister`s Media Advisor, Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Chief Editor and Managing Director of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), Abul Kalam Azad, and other senior journalists.
