Blockade will continue: Khaleda

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia declared continuation of the ongoing country-wide blockade called by BNP-led 20-party alliance. Khaleda Zia told this addressing a press briefing at party’s Gulshan office Monday evening.

“The ongoing crisis is a political crisis. Government must take initiatives to find a solution of it,” Said Khaleda.

She called upon the country people to make their movement a success and declared that the blockade will continue till the ultimate success.

Party’s standing committee members Lt. Gen (retd) Mahbubur Rahman, Brig Gen(retd) Hannan Shah, Nazrul Islam Khan, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Sarwari Rahman and Dr. R A Gani, among others, were present at the press briefing. Khaleda had taken the decision at a meeting with these party members before the press brief.
