New pay scale salary from January: Muhith

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith said that the public servants will get their salary as per the 8th national pay scale from January.

The Minister made the assertion again while replying newsmen after meeting with visiting Tripura governor Shri Tathagata Roy in the capital on Saturday evening.

Muhith said that various types of media are reporting different types of news in pay scale which is creating confusion among public servants.

‘I want to say that there is nothing about confusion; the government employees will get their salaries as per the new pay scale from January’, he said.
