Khaleda Zia asks central leaders to go to their areas

Khaleda Zia, chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has asked her party’s central leaders to go to their respective areas ahead of the municipal polls.

She told this during a meeting with senior party leaders in her Gulshan office on Saturday night.

BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the decisions taken at the meeting would be made public later.

The BNP leaders said they discussed the campaign strategy and checked lists of leaders to form divisional monitoring cells.
