RU celebrates its 9th convocation

Rajshahi University(RU) is holding its 9th convocation Sunday. A convocation procession will be brought out at 2.25 pm with fanfare led by Chancellor Md. Abdul Hamid, president of People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The formal programmes of the convocation will start at 2.30 pm at the university stadium.

Dr. Talat Ahmed, vice-chancellor of Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi is the speaker of the convocation.

Registered participants may collect their convocation stuffs from 8 am to 11 am from their respective departments and institutes.

According to the public relation office of the university, a total of 4,771 graduates from the year of 2006 to 2010 have registered for the convocation this year.
