Robber killed in mass thrashing

A robber was killed in mass thrashing at Moupukur village of Birampur Upazila in Dinajpur.

The deceased was identified as Nazmul Islam, 50, son of late Jahir Uddin, village of Malga of Bochaganj Upazila.

Locals said, a gang of robber went to rob to Hasan Ali’s house. During this time locals caught one robber named Nazmul and beaten up them mercilessly. Later he was sent to Birampur Upazila Health complex in critical condition and doctor declared him as dead.

In this connection officer-in-charge of Birampur Police Station Amiruzzaman told Jagonews24.com that, he was informed the matter and no case was filed yet.
