Include 191 Freedom Fighters into gazette: HC
The High Court on Monday passed an order, asking for including the names of 191 Freedom Fighters from Jhalakathi into gazette within 60 days.
A High Court division bench comprising Justice Zubayer Rahman Chowdhury and Justice Mahmudul Hoque passed the order.
The court passed the order after holding hearing on a rule issued in 2011 in this regard. The High Court at that time issued the rule following a writ petition filed by Freedom Fighters from three upazillas of Jhalakathi.
