56 including Jamaat men held in Satkhira

Joint forces in separate drives arrested 56 people, including 15 Jamaat-Shibir activists, from different places of Satkhira in allegation of planning sabotage.

Joint forces arrested them from Friday night to early Saturday after raiding eight upazilas. Among the arrestees, 13 are Jamaat activists while two are Shibir activists.

Ensuring the matter, Enamul Haque, special branch Sub-Inspector (SI) of Satkhira district police, said the joint team conducted separate drives in the eight upazilas and arrested 56 people on sabotage charges.
