PM arrives Sylhet

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in Sylhet around 11am on Wednesday on a daylong visit to attend a number of programmes including flag-raising ceremony of the newly- established 11 Infantry Brigade under 17 Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army there.

After arrival at Sylhet MAG Osmani International Airport by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight in the morning, the premier offered Ziarat of mazar of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) at Dargah Mahalla of Ambarkhana in the city.

She will go to Khadimnagar on the outskirts of the city and will offer ziarat of mazar of Hazrat Shahparan.

Later, Sheikh Hasina will join the flag-raising ceremony of the newly-established 11 Infantry Brigade under 17 Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army at Jalalabad Cantonment. The premier will return to Dhaka in the afternoon by a Biman flight.
