HC orders arrest of Jhenidah stalkers in 72 hours

The High Court directed law enforcers to arrest within 72 hours the accused of the two cases filed for stalking two girls and brutally injuring their father in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenidah.

The HC bench of Justice Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque and Justice Mohammad Ullah on Tuesday passed the order on a suo moto (of its own) move following a report published by a national Bangla daily.

The court also directed the authorities concerned to submit a report by November 27 after complying with the arrest order.

On October 16, Shahanur Biswas lost his two legs for protesting stalking of his daughters at Nolvanga village under Kastovanga union parishad in Kaliganj upazila.
