5 militants detained: RAB

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) claimed that they detained five militants from Uttara and Adabor area in the capital.

Confirming the matter to Jagonews24.com, Mufti Mahmud Khan, Director of Legal and Media wing of RAB headquarters, on Thursday said they seized bomb making materials, arms and ammunition from their (JMB men) possession.

The detainees are the members of Sarwar and Tamim group of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

Trainer, explosive specialists and finance coordinator are in the detainees, according to RAB. But they didn’t disclose the identities of JMB men.
